**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
Interface with all Bendix CVS suppliers in the following areas: quality performance and expectations, interpretation of requirements per engineering drawings and specifications, and supplier improvement, supplier development and audits.
**Essential Functions**:
Acting as liaison between suppliers, group and plant buyers, plant quality and engineering. Acting as mediator between suppliers and plant quality when problems arise (Dispute process).
Conduct supplier Audits (VDA, PSA, Walk Control Plan)
Evaluate suppliers in support of vendor sourcing efforts
Participate in Design for Manufacturability-Integrity process as SMF category expert, ensure flow-down of the Bendix DFMEA into the Supplier’s APQP documents, conduct on-site DMI validation validation by confirming supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) is comp...
