Engineer - TechOps Automation

The engineer will collaborate with TechOps and Compliance teams to replace manual verification processes with scalable, automated systems that improve accuracy, speed, and reporting quality.

Requirements

Core Technical Skills

• Strong Python 3.x development experience (OOP, modular coding, async/multithreading, exception handling, logging).
  

• PDF & document processing using PyMuPDF (fitz), pdfplumber, PyPDF2, and OCR tools such as Tesseract, EasyOCR, PaddleOCR.
  

• Excel/Spreadsheet automation using openpyxl, pandas, and regex for pattern extraction.
  

• GUI-based tool development using PyQt6/PySide6 with threaded execution, progress bars, file selectors, and log views.
  

• Experience integrating OpenAI GPT / Azure OpenAI for extraction, summarization, classification, and anomaly detection.
  

• Cloud automation experience with Azure (preferred) or GCP including:
  

  • Blob/Cloud Storage, Functions/Cloud Functions, App Service/Cloud Run
    

  • SAS/OAuth authentication
    

  • Key Vault / IAM for secret management
    

• REST API development and integrations using FastAPI/Flask, JSON/XML processing, and webhooks.
  

• Version control and best practices using Git, code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD basics.
  

• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB for data persistence.
  

Functional Responsibilities

• Develop automated workflows for document handling, verification, extraction, and compliance reporting.
  

• Build AI-driven pipelines combining Python rules and GPT logic for decision-making and anomaly detection.
  

• Automate comparison of fields such as PN/SN/POS and generate structured validation reports.
  

• Integrate automation with Azure/GCP storage and internal REST APIs.
  

• Deliver well-structured Python modules with scalability, logging, performance optimization, and error handling.
  

• Convert manual processes into reliable automation for operations and compliance teams.
  

Experience Level

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Python Automation / Document Processing / AI-driven automation.
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• UiPath, Power Automate, or RPA experience
  

• Node.js scripting
  

• Excel VBA automations
  

• Serverless microservices exposure
  

• SharePoint/OneDrive automation experience
  

Soft Skills
