ENGINEER - TOOLING

Responsibilities

• Participate in mold design development process to ensure that the part design meets standards and can produce a robust tool (participate in design review)
• Conduct tool improvement review to establish key milestones and persons responsible for the design, manufacturing, mold trials and qualification processes
• Monitor, track and report tool progress to program manager/engineer. Ensure compliance to committed schedule
• Responsible for managing the implementation and execution of engineering
• Coordinate and ensure smooth execution of mold trial activities
• Conduct post mold trial meet. Prepare document mold trial review minutes and ensure effective tool improvement and timely tool approval
• Study FAI with QA personnel and determine. coordinate tool tweaking activities
• Inspect, evaluate and make recommendations regarding transfer tools
