Engineer - Wireless RAN Testing

Job Description

• Hands-on experience in LTE/4G eNodeB verification, validating 3GPP protocols, call flow, and traffic throughput.
• Strong knowledge of Wireless Packet Core Standards, IETF Standards, VoLTE, IMS server, EPC core, RRH, and handover testing.
• Experience in eNodeB/gNodeB/UE L1 SW development.
• Familiarity with RAN platform architecture and L1 schedulers.
• Knowledge of air interface, S1AP, mobility, and LTE stack.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and log analysis skills.
• Hands-on exposure to UE simulators.
• Working knowledge of automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop test cases for eNodeB functionalities as per 3GPP standards.
• Analyze LTE-related use cases and customer requests.
• Augment tests based on customer deployment feedback.
• Analyze field queries and provide solutions.
• Perform log analysis, performance, capacity, and soak testing.
• Raise bugs and coordinate fixes with the development team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Telecommunication or Networking.
• Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE/EEE/IS) or equivalent.
• Good coding skills in C/C++.
