**Engineering Assistant – Multi-Skilled**
Are you technically versatile, proactive, and hands-on? We are looking for an **Engineering Assistant – Multi-Skilled** who will support daily engineering operations by handling a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the hotel’s facilities remain safe, functional, and guest-ready at all times.
**A little taste of your day-to-day:**
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
+ Assisting the Engineering team with day-to-day maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
+ Handling basic **electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and civil** maintenance tasks.
+ Responding promptly to guest maintenance requests and operational work orders.
+ Supporting preventive maintenance schedules and routine inspections.
+ Assisting in troubleshooting minor technical issues and escalating complex faults when required.
+ Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
+ Updating maintenance logs, job cards, and checklists accurately.
+ Following hotel safety procedures and statutory regulations at all times.
+ Supporting contractors and technicians during maintenance or repair works when assigned.
**What we need from you:**
+ Proven experience as a **Multi-Skilled Technician or Engineering Assistant** , preferably in a hotel or large facility.
+ Hands-on knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance works.
+ Technical certificate, diploma, or trade qualification will be an advantage.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
+ Good communication skills in **English** ; **Arabic language will be an advantage** .
+ Physically fit and capable of handling operational maintenance tasks.
+ Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
