This position requires an ability to improve quality and efficiency through better systems and may direct and lead the work of others. Essential Job Functions of an Engineering CAD Design Technician include: Automate systems in use for the group to reduce overtime and increase performance Communicate with project manager and production about what needs answered or clarified to be able to finish the job. Read blueprints and elevational views to come up with the best solution to produce as close to architecturals as possible and still maintain standards, cost, safety, form and function.
