Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Design Tech. This individual will use the data that has been collected in the field to create engineering deliverables based on the job assigned.
- Supporting client with review of field data including post-inspecting construction, and using that data to create engineering designs for new communication attachment or clear any safety violations
- Work as member of Joint USE/Fiber Make Ready Team to design communication line attachments to existing overhead utility poles in compliance with National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and utility standards.
- Utilize design software and GIS tools to create detailed construction drawings and layout plans.
- Analyze pole loading, clearance requirements, and make-ready conditions for new attachments.
- Prepare make-ready engineering (MRE) documentation, bills of material (BOM), and work packages for construction crews.
