Engineering Designer (Mechanical and Electrical)

Position Summary:
As Engineering Designer, you will contribute to the technical expertise that LCE engineering/design provides to our clients. You will be responsible for working closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to develop D design packages shipboard habitability spaces. This work will be accomplished for various USN surface ship platforms at Fort Monroe.





Contract Requirements:

Must be a US citizen with a DoD Secret security clearance

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Create Shipboard Installation Drawings from ship-check sketches and notes

Compare drawings to drafting standards and review for form, fit and function

Use D modeling software to develop design packages

Participate on field and ship check teams to perform site surveys (some travel required)
