Engineering Director

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical initiatives, architect, and design for end-to-end software development.
• Develop the software development roadmap and architect the technical aspects.
• Manage an offshore team to implement new technical strategies and oversee system development.
• Design advanced analytics systems using scalable technologies.
• Assess infrastructure, propose scalable solutions, and effectively communicate with teams.
• Plan, manage, and execute technical projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Facilitate communication between engineering and product teams.
• Draft concise technical requirement documents and foster innovation within the team.

Requirements:

• Architectural and design experience in data engineering, with hands-on experience in Golang (backend).
• Extensive expertise in Algorithms, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Databases & Distributed Systems, and foundational Cryptography.
• Proven track record with cloud-based distributed database solutions and streaming processes.
• Demonstrated ability in infrastructure development within large-scale database architectures, especially within reputable data companies.
• In-depth understanding and practical application of database management technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage offshore teams and willingness to travel within Southeast Asia
