HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• The Digital Risk Office (DRO) is accountable for managing and executing the process of continuous line 1 Firmwide Engineering thematic risk discovery, prioritization, remediation and governance
• The role will be to assess risk for various Engineering Processes to identify a rationalized and prioritized list of risks and create a targeted book-of-work for Engineering teams in the Firm.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Support the risk assessment, rationalization and prioritization of risks for specific domains within the Engineering division 
• Support the DRO roadmap to achieve ongoing compliance with, and enhancement to, the DRO framework
• Support the engagement with Core Engineering leads to ensure timely risk remediation
• Support the engagement with divisional risk leads to ensure timely adoption of Core Engineering's platform and process solutions within business teams to reduce risk
• Collaborate and support opportunities to enhance the DRO framework and processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in Risk Management to such as assessment of control environments to identify potential risks, root causes analysis, risk lifecycle, etc.
• Basic understanding of software engineering and risk fundamentals
• Ability to work in a global, fast paced environment with a strong execution and delivery focus
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, partnering with stakeholders across all levels to drive standardization and strategic roadmap
• Ability to apply judgement and collaborate on proposals to build consensus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present with impact and influence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of financial institution fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of risk management methodologies and frameworks
• Basic understanding of Engineering processes such as: IAM, SDLC, Cyber Response, Resilience, etc. 
• Basic understanding of Technology Domains – Identity & Access Management, Change Management, Resilience, Information Security, etc.
• Basic Knowledge of technologies such as: cloud, mobile, and infrastructure
• Audit, compliance, quality assurance, or control related experience a plus
