Engineering Industrial Placement

Description

As an Engineering Industrial Placement, you will gain some real hands-on experience within Manufacturing Engineering as a great way to introduce you to the broad breadth of product we produce. You will gain an understanding of the steps needed from design, manufacture, assembly, and shipping to the end customer. You will be introduced to some Engineering design problem solving and design activities using CAD or other software tools as appropriate. Depending upon your discipline preference you will be exposed to manufacturing process, engineering design, engineering processes, product testing and inspection.

How Long is the Industrial Placement

Our industrial placement can be up to 1-year during which time you will undertake short placements around the business, predominantly focused on engineering but also giving exposure to wider functions such as project management, operations, and supply chain.
