Duties will vary from position to position, based on the assignment, but they all have a common goal – to enhance public safety. Engineering interns may work in one of a variety of program areas under the direct supervision of a NYSDOT Professional Engineer, Senior Landscape Architect, Senior Land Surveyor, or Environmental Specialist.
