Job Description

Ziegler CAT is hiring an Engineering Intern to help support our Sales Engineers, Manufacturing & Application Engineers in the Power Systems Division providing OEMs with Caterpillar Industrial Engines.

Responsibilities:

  • Main focus will include reviewing, editing, and working with Application Engineers to update current build instructions

  • Demonstrate the application of basic Engineering tools/ principles and evidence of creative thinking

  • Investigates product problems, understands basic diesel engine operation, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results with guidance from more experienced team members.

  • Obtains input from internal stakeholders such as warehouse employees, technicians, technical communicators, project leaders, and supplier partners to deliver information and recommendations that lead to improved process decisions.
