*About the role**** As part of the leadership team, you will be hands on coaching your small team, ensuring the engineering department is aligned with company strategy. Driving improvement and innovation while also analysing existing components for improvements and replication. Working cross functionally with other departments you will ensure Engineering is viewed as a reliable and collaborative partner.
*Duties****
* Lead Engineering operations and provide guidance across departmental functions
* Design and development initiatives, ensuring alignment with future planning
* NPD and CI, incorporating vehicle electrification requirements
* Compliance with ADR and international standards
* Management of BOM
* Collaboration and coordination with warehouse, supply chain, suppliers and vendors
*Skills & experience**** We seek proactive, collaborative individual who fosters teamwork and encourages knowledge sharing across all departments. An ability to translate corporate goals into actionable engineering strategies. You will possess
* Engineering degree with RPEQ
* Experience in the Automotive (ideally) or manufacturing industry
* Demonstratable experience leading teams
* A strong understanding of DFMA, Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement principles
* Financial and administrative oversight and reporting
* Experience with product design, manufacturing and system processes
