Your Mission

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead 1–2 multidisciplinary squads and help them deliver their best work — consistently, sustainably, and with joy.

You'll focus on people, delivery, and team health, while partnering closely with Product and Design to turn ideas into impact.

You'll build a thriving environment where engineers grow, squads operate smoothly, and value is shipped continuously.

What you'll be doing Lead with clarity and care

  • Partner with your Product Manager to co-own the strategy and roadmap of your squads.
  • Turn big-picture goals into clear, actionable plans — and help engineers understand the "why" behind them.
  • Balance delivery with long-term sustainability, tech health, and team well-being.
  • Be a champion of the user. Always.

Work across the board

  • Connect the dots with other EMs, PMs, and stakeholders — ensuring alignment, transparency, and unblocked teams.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs clearly and early.
  • Represent your squads in cross-team discussions and company-wide initiatives.

Manage resources like a pro

  • Understand the skills, passions, and strengths of each engineer — and match them to the right problems.
  • Coordinate capacity, hiring needs, and rotations with the Head of Engineering.
  • Keep an eye on team load, sustainability, and operational costs.

Grow people, grow teams

  • Support engineers through coaching, regular 1:1s, actionable feedback, and meaningful career development.
  • Foster psychological safety and a culture of continuous learning.
  • Elevate team rituals: retros, planning, reviews, and everything that makes a squad… a great squad.
  • Live our values and help your teams do the same.

Drive delivery & operational excellence

  • Own the delivery rhythm of your squads — outcomes over output.
  • Track progress against goals, ensure accountability, and help remove blockers.
  • Partner with Staff Engineers and Platform teams to maintain technical health and operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement across reliability, quality, and the way your teams work.

  • A genuine passion for people growth and team dynamics.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, navigate ambiguity, and build strong partnerships with Product and Design.
  • A calm leader who can balance urgency with sustainability, ambition with empathy.
