Engineering Manager, Front End/Full Stack

We’re hiring a technical Engineering Manager to lead and grow our India-based engineering team. This is a people-leadership role first. You’ll own team performance, delivery quality, and career growth—while staying hands-on (~60%) in a large, mature Next.js / headless commerce codebase for a Fortune 500 client. You are the technical and cultural anchor for the India team during IST hours, ensuring strong delivery, proactive communication, and tight collaboration with U.S. and European stakeholders.

This role is for someone who has truly owned teams, not just mentored individuals.

You’ve:

• Owned delivery commitments and team outcomes
• Hired, onboarded, and grown engineers
• Handled performance issues and hard conversations
• Led distributed teams using async-first communication

If your leadership experience is limited to code reviews and light mentoring, this is not the role.
