Our heavy maintenance facility is based in Cairns, North Queensland where an exciting opportunity now exists for a highly motivated and organised individual to become an integral part of our team as the Engineering Manager - Fixed Wing.

Reporting to the Accountable Manager the Engineering Manager is responsible for management of Fixed Wing Engineering Department.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the Regulator for matters which the RM is responsible for under the MOE.
• Provide direction and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure management of all day-to-day maintenance activities are conducted appropriately by the company.
• Ensure the maintenance personnel are rostered in a manner conducive to the manpower plan and in line with current fatigue rules.
