Join Canonical as an Engineering Manager, MAAS and help lead the team that builds and runs the best Metal-as-a-Service platform for private bare-metal infrastructure.

Our MAAS (Metal as a Service) stack is rapidly evolving, written in Python and Go, and spans the entire stack from low-level hardware detection to the web interface and CLI.

Location

This is a work-from-anywhere position available within EMEA or the Americas.

Role Entails
  • Lead a distributed team of engineers in your time zone and nurture their growth through coaching, mentoring, and career planning.
  • Set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • Advocate for modern software development practices and participate in code and architectural review.
  • Engage with broader Canonical teams, the open source community, and partners.
