Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement, with a proven track record of driving significant improvements in product quality, process efficiency, and cost reduction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering teams, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of new product designs (NPD), ensuring manufacturability and quality.
  • Manage and optimize production processes, including electrical testing and soldering.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure compliance with IATF standards and other relevant industry regulations.
  • Implement projects to reduce scrap and improve overall efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in quality and Productivity or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in cost management and budget control.
  • Experience in program management
  • Proven experience in New Product Development (NPD) & Change Management
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, including electrical testing and soldering.
  • Experience in managing work teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of IATF standards and experience in implementing scrap reduction projects.
