Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our manufacturing engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement, with a proven track record of driving significant improvements in product quality, process efficiency, and cost reduction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering teams, providing technical guidance and support.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Oversee the development and implementation of new product designs (NPD), ensuring manufacturability and quality.
- Manage and optimize production processes, including electrical testing and soldering.
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Ensure compliance with IATF standards and other relevant industry regulations.
- Implement projects to reduce scrap and improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in quality and Productivity or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in cost management and budget control.
- Experience in program management
- Proven experience in New Product Development (NPD) & Change Management
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, including electrical testing and soldering.
- Experience in managing work teams and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of IATF standards and experience in implementing scrap reduction projects.
