New Product Development
- Work with Product Management and Engineering teams to finalize the software specification and GATE sign-off.
- Work with Engineering and Operation teams to achieve operational excellence through automated testing
- Competitor Products study in order to understand their technological offerings and design products which will have an edge in comparison with others
- Study and implement latest technological trends.
- Software Architecture design and development.
- Ensure modularity and scalability in design.
- Set up and execute proper review mechanisms.
- Ensure proper design documentation.
- Ensure thoroughness and quality of deliverables before release.
Design Process and Standards
- Adherence to NPD process till the final release of product to Mass Production.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards.
Project Management
- Create and inform project plan to all stakeholders and Senior Management and get it approved.
- Execute and monitor the plan to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with Product Management team for product promotion contents, prepare Product Roadmap.
- Estimation and monitoring of Project Costing.
- Risk identification and mitigation.
People Management
- Prepare Skill Matrix. Training need identification and ensuring its execution.
- Mentoring and coaching team members.
- Ensure team is motivated and engaged.
- Build a culture share and learn.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews with structured feedback
Customer Complaints & Support
- Provide support to Application and service team to resolve customer issues / requests.
- Provide inputs for product literature, manuals/videos and sample applications.
