Engineering Manager - Structures (Chennai)

Position: Engineering Manager - Structures

Experience: 8-10 Years 

We are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Design Engineer with proven experience in long span bridge design (Extradosed bridge & Cable Stayed Bridges), Pile & well foundation design, and superstructure design.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conceptual and detailed design of Extradosed bridge & Cable Stayed Bridges

2. Conceptual and detailed design of concrete, and composite structures.

3. Structural modeling and design of various superstructures (PSC Box girders, segmental construction, cable-stayed, etc.).

4. Design and analysis of Well & Pile foundations, especially for river bridges and complex geotechnical conditions.

5. Planning and organising design team, review designs, ensuring resources are properly assigned to project tasks.

6. Preparation of detailed design reports, drawings, and specifications.

7. Coordination with project teams, consultants, and clients.

8. Mentorship of junior engineers and design review responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in bridge design, with hands-on exposure to Indian codes (IRC, IS) & International codes (AASHTO, Eurocode) also preferred.

3. Proficiency in design and analysis software (MIDAS, LUSAS, SOFiSTiK, etc.).

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience in design of Extradosed bridge or Cable Stayed Bridges & elevated corridors.

2. Effective communication and leadership skills.
