Job Description

The Engineering Officer joining the IRB will carry out support tasks of the General Infrastructures and Services Department for all the facilities available at the IRB_DEPT in the PCB building. We are looking for a dynamic individual with a curious mind, eager to understand the inner workings of technical installations (electricity, air conditioning, etc.) and the equipment at a cutting‑edge research center. They should have an open and inclusive mindset and a multidisciplinary approach to working with researchers. They will also participate in the department’s various technological projects and the new building project. Reporting directly to the head of the GIS department, will be developing the following tasks assigned to this position:

Key responsibilities Project Management
  • Collaborate in the development of documents required for construction projects and modifications to installations (power, air conditioning, gases, etc.). This includes managing plans and other project documents, such as as‑built final documentation.
impre Maintenance of scientific equipment
  • Database update on the scientific equipment software: asset write‑off, asset tagging and update of asset location.
  • Implementation and following up of the preventative maintenance.
Other responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the analysis of documents of the new project for the new IRB building: elaborate documents to study the implementation of the IRB facilities.
  • Cooperation to elaborate documents like annual memory or update the intranet or helping writing new procedures.
You have
  • Finished Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Fluent in Spanish and Catalan and intermediate level of English.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn. окружн
