PRIMARY PURPOSE: AHF Products has a great part-time, short-term opportunity for an Engineering Technician in our Maintenance Department at our Kankakee Flooring Plant in Kankakee, IL. We are looking for an energetic, self-driven, detailed orientated individual who has some mechanical understanding of how equipment runs, proficient computer skills, and the ability to build a new system to track our roll inventory. This position will have responsibilities on the manufacturing floor and office setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
* Utilize systems to pull information to create roll management system
* Spend time on manufacturing floor to understand the roll system and components
* Create diagrams, blueprints and drawings for the rolls
