Engineering Technician - Aviation

Overview We are seeking a full-time Engineering Technician at Garmin’s U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for the layout, build, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying basic developmental and production electronic circuits, equipment, and systems. Essential Functions Assist Design Engineers through reading schematics, understanding and debugging basic circuits to the component level Diagnose and correct connection and wiring problems and/or create system wiring diagrams with assistance Perform electrical circuit prototyping, breadboard construction and troubleshooting including reading/following schematics and layout drawings to identify solder and assembly problems and correct problems with assistance Operate basic and advanced lab test equipment to test and troubleshoot test failures, including using equipment such as PCB milling machines, multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, and logic analyzers Set up and ex...
