The Ground Robotics Technician for Autonomous Vehicle Technologies is responsible for testing the vehicle's electronic and mechanical systems before and after installation. This role involves calibration, closed road testing and tuning, and open road highway testing, specifically for remote and leader-follower automated driving vehicles.
Responsibilities
+ Perform detailed development work in RF, analog, and digital electronics under the guidance of engineers.
+ Work independently to resolve existing problems and malfunctions swiftly.
+ Collect and analyze engineering test data to achieve specific objectives.
+ Research and analyze electronic components for new designs and replacing obsolete parts.
+ Interpret drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
+ Implement and test engineering changes.
+ Create test plans and procedures for products under development.
