ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (NUCLEAR)

Summary You will serve as a Engineering Technician (Nuclear) in the Radiological Emergency Planning Division, Radiological Control Office of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will be responsible to ensure that Shipyard is prepared to respond to Nuclear Reactor Plant accidents, radiological emergencies, and all-hazards events effecting Nuclear Powered Warships. You will be responsible for providing oversight to the Radiological Emergency Response Organization teams to include oversight of training, equipment and qualification. You will be responsible for the development of concepts, purchases, and maintenance of audiovisual and IT equipment in support of Emergency Control Center operations.
