ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

Summary You will serve as an Engineer or Scientist in the Electro-Optics Technology DDM Branch (LXND), Electro-Optics Technology Division (LXN), Sensor Integration & Technology Department (LX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The ND-05 encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14/15. Responsibilities You will serve as the Test and Evaluation (T and E) Chief Engineer (CHENG) for Electro-Optic Technology Division (EOTD). You will work alongside the division’s CHENG and Chief Scientist, advising division leadership on matters pertaining to the current and future state of T and E capabilities and the general state of EO/IR technology. You will provide technical leadership in electro-optic, infrared, and laser technology areas.
