ENGINEER/SCIENTIST

Summary You will serve as an ENGINEER/SCIENTIST in the Weapon Systems Development Division (JXP) or Experimentation and Assessment Division (JXR) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15. Responsibilities You will serve as the Chief Engineer/Scientist for the Weapon Systems Development Division (JXP) or Experimentation and Assessment Division (JXR), advising the Division Head on division readiness, technical rigor, and execution of programs/projects. You will provide policy direction, oversight, and assessment of the Division's scientific and engineering community.
