Responsibilities
- Ensures all works and compliances required from both Power Trading and Billing & Settlement teams are performed smoothly.
- Coordinates and guides all plant trading staff for efficient and consolidated capacity & pricing offers both for ASPA & WESM markets.
- Leads periodic detailed billing reconciliation with NGCP, which requires technical and financial review and deliberation to ensure proper consideration of claims and accurate computations.
- Ensures accurate monthly power dispatch analysis of SPC/SIPC Plants that leads to substantial additional claims on Must Run Units (MRU), Administered Price (AP), Secondary Price Cap (SEC), & Real-Time Dispatch (RTD) from PEMC.
- Represents SPC/SIPC in meetings & with DOE, ERC, NGCP, PEMC & GMC.
- Represents SPC/SIPC to PEMC on call pending claims for additional payments & compliance submissions.
