Enterprise Architect – Digital Strategy & AI Enablement

Position Description:

As an Expert in Enterprise Architecture at CGI, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through digital transformation journeys, with a specialized focus on enabling artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced digital strategy. You will leverage deep expertise in enterprise architecture to design future-ready digital ecosystems that unlock business value, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer and citizen experiences.
This role requires a leader who can bridge business strategy, enterprise architecture, and emerging technologies to create executable roadmaps. You will engage directly with executive stakeholders, shape digital and AI-enabled solutions, and mentor teams to deliver measurable impact across industries.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Strategy
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, aligning digital strategy with organizational objectives and transformation roadmaps.
• Lead the design and adoption of enterprise architecture practices that enable AI, advanced analytics, automation, and emerging digital platforms.
• Shape digital business models, value streams, and technology-enabled strategies that drive growth and efficiency.
Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design
• Define enterprise, business, data, application, and technology architectures that enable AI adoption at scale.
• Develop digital platform blueprints that integrate AI/ML, cloud-native, and data-centric architectures.
• Ensure architectures are sustainable, secure, scalable, and aligned with industry and regulatory standards.
AI & Digital Enablement
• Advise clients on AI readiness, adoption frameworks, and responsible AI principles.
• Identify use cases where AI, machine learning, and automation deliver measurable business value.
• Partner with CGI’s AIx Lab, innovation hubs, and global experts to bring cutting-edge solutions to market.
Practice Leadership & Growth
• Contribute to CGI’s thought leadership in enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, digital transformation, and AI.
• Lead and mentor architecture teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Support business development through solutioning, proposals, and executive-level presentations.
• Collaborate with CGI’s global ecosystem of partners and alliances to shape go-to-market offerings.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field. MBA or equivalent considered an asset.
• Experience:
o 10+ years in enterprise architecture, with at least 3 years at a senior/director level.
o Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-wide digital and AI-enabled transformation programs.
o Deep understanding of AI/ML platforms, cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, GCP), data management, and integration patterns.
o Strong background in TOGAF, Zachman, or similar architecture frameworks.
o Experience advising executive-level clients and delivering C-suite presentations.
• Skills:
o Exceptional ability to translate strategy into actionable architecture roadmaps.
o Expertise in business architecture, data-driven transformation, and emerging technologies.
o Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
o Ability to build consensus and influence across executive and technical stakeholders.

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
