Hiring: EDW Solution Consultant – BI & Analytics
We are seeking an experienced EDW Solution Consultant to design and deliver scalable, high-quality Business Intelligence (BI) and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, architectural thinking, and close collaboration with business and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assess business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and BI/EDW solution designs
Design and develop technology solutions for the BI space , leveraging existing technologies wherever possible
Develop technical designs that ensure:
Scalability
Maintainability
Security
Reliability
Extensibility and flexibility
Availability and manageability
Apply architectural and engineering best practices aligned with enterprise standards
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Administrators, and Developers for successful BI solution delivery
Ensure solutions align with the enterprise architecture strategy
Identify opportunities to standardize and simplify solution architecture to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency
Support Agile delivery through technical guidance and design reviews
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems , or equivalent experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with EDW / data solutions
2+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI
Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of data warehousing concepts:
ETL processes
Fact and dimension tables
Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs)
Experience working with SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Databricks , or similar platforms
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with on-shore and off-shore teams
