We are currently partnering with a prominent education provider in Perth to find a skilled Systems Engineer for a critical 6-month migration project. This is a fantastic opportunity for an EUC specialist who enjoys the "heavy lifting" phase of infrastructure transitions and wants to make a tangible impact on a large-scale environment.

Non-Negotiables:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

• Technical Core: Extensive experience with Intune, SCCM, and Active Directory.

• Migration Background: Proven experience migrating organisational structures and endpoints from SCCM environments.

• GPO Mastery: Advanced ability to create and manage Group Policies.

• Work Rights: Full Australian working rights (we accept visas that permit full-time hours for the duration of the contract).

• Located in Perth: Must be located in Perth, WA, for both interviews and for the duration of the contract.

The Project Scope

You will be joining the team as a technical lead for a significant migration project. The organisation currently manages a diverse and complex environment with over 700 applications. Your primary focus will be transitioning these resources and the broader user base from an SCCM-centric model to a streamlined Active Directory/Intune framework.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Infrastructure Migration: Planning and executing the move of organisational units and endpoints.

• Application Rationalisation: Navigating a portfolio of 700+ apps to ensure compatibility and seamless deployment post-migration.

• Group Policy Design: Auditing existing GPOs and building a robust, clean structure that aligns with modern best practices.

• EUC Optimisation: Working closely with the systems team to ensure the End User Computing experience is stable, secure, and performing throughout the transition.

Contract Details

• Duration: 6-month initial contract.

• Rate: $60 – $70 per hour + Super (dependent on experience).
