Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Job Description

This position offers specialized support to the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Department, working in close collaboration with the EHS team and site operations. The role primarily focuses on maintaining waste management programs, including hazardous, regulated medical, pharmaceutical, and other specialized wastes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute Safety Preventative Maintenance and Inspections.
  • Manage the regulated and specialized waste program at the site.
  • Collaborate with warehouse personnel to track and remove specialized rejected products and materials.
  • Oversee and maintain the Regulatory compliance matrix.
  • Coordinate sampling of the wastewater.
  • Perform safety inspections of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assemble, train, and maintain the site emergency response team.
