Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Engineer to join our team and develop expertise in power connector applications and design. This role involves gaining hands-on experience in sand casting, foundry operations, and machine shop procedures, as well as providing technical support to customers and internal teams. The engineer will assist in product testing, cost estimation, catalog updates, and quality assurance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Support: Assist the Sales Department, Agents, and customers with technical inquiries and product recommendations. Product Development: Design and develop new and custom power connectors, ensuring compliance with industry standards. CAD Design: Create 2D assembly drawings and 3D CAD models (AutoCAD & Autodesk Inventor preferred). Cost Estimation: Analyze new product designs and provide accurate cost estimates.
