Job Description
Our client, one of the big 5 banks in Canada, is looking to hire for an entry level banking role to support the mailroom for their corporate office located in the downtown Toronto area.
Job Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Receive, open, and sort incoming mail and packages.
+ Organize, categorize, and distribute mail to the appropriate departments or recipients.
+ Process outbound mail, including preparing envelopes and parcels for pickup/shipment.
+ Perform repetitive, paper-based administrative tasks related to aftersales and document handling.
+ Use mailroom tools such as mail openers, box cutters, and sorting equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Lift and move boxes of mail weighing 10–20 pounds as required.
+ Stand for extended periods (1–2 hours) while performing sorting and processing tasks.
