Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design of packaging and material handling equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SolidWorks and experienced in detailing large-scale mechanical systems. A minimum GPA of 3.5 is required for consideration.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems and components.
+ Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis.
+ Develop 2D drafting and 3D design for large systems.
+ Draft and design shop drawings and fabrication drawings.
+ Redline documents and ensure accuracy in technical documentation.
+ Test prototypes and troubleshoot mechanical design issues.
+ Validate components and assemblies to ensure they meet specifications.
+ Prepare technical documentation, including bills of materials and data sheets.
