Entry-Level PEB Site Engineer

Role Description

• Job Title: Junior Site Engineer PEB
• Reports To: Site Manager/Project Manager / Construction Head
• Location: Chennai/ Coimbatore
• Type: Full Time (Site Based)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily PEB assembly – columns, rafters, purlins, bracing, cladding
• Verify foundation anchor bolts & base plate alignment per drawing & tolerance (≤5mm)
• Coordinate crane & rigging crew;
  ensure safe lifting sequence (no warping / damage)
• Monitor material receipt & track deviations (bolt count, section lengths, paint coats)
• Log daily progress photos + QC checks (witness points: welds, bolt torque, plumbness)
• Liaise with fabricator & client on RFIs, change orders, snag list
• Enforce HSE: PPE, scaffolding, fall protection, crane signalers

Must have Qualifications:

• 2- 4 yrs PEB / steel erection experience
• Reads structural drawings & ISO 9001/OHSAS 18001 awareness
• AutoCAD / MS Project / Excel for logs
• Hands-on, can climb, work at height, tolerate heat/dust
• Experience with Indian codes (IS 800, IS 875)
