Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry Level Quality Engineer to join our team. The role involves performing detailed analysis of customer returned parts to drive Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) improvements, preventing internal recurring failures, and reducing risks by conducting root cause analysis to identify and address existing issues. This is an entry level position- if you have relevant internship experience within Aerospace, this is the right role for you!

Must Have:

-Aerospace Engineering Degree

-Aerospace Manufacturing Internship

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analysis of customer returned parts and utilize findings to drive CAPA improvements.
  • Prevent internal recurring failures and reduce risks by conducting root cause analysis.
  • Validate customer RMAs and implement further actions to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Represent the Quality Assurance team in the material review board (MRB) for internal rejections.
  • Essential Skills

  • Experience with AS9102 and aerospace industry standards-- internship experience is okay.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ability to conduct first article inspections and manage audits.
  • Experience with material review board (MRB) processes.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • The position involves overseeing different connector lines.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
