Entry Level Welder

Structural Welder – 3G MIG (Carbon Steel, 3/8 Plate)

Shift: 1st Shift — Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Structural Welders who can confidently perform a 3G MIG weld on 3/8” carbon plate, all the way out. Candidates must have at least 6 months of experience welding in a structural fabrication shop and be proficient with MIG and Flux‑Core processes.

Key Responsibilities

Perform high‑quality MIG and Flux‑Core welds in 3G (vertical) and other positions (horizontal, overhead as needed).

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.

Accurately read tape measures, calipers, rulers, and other measuring tools.

Determine proper welding method, equipment, and settings based on project requirements.

Set voltage/amp settings and adjust welding machines as needed.

Cut and prep material (., using powered saws).

Operate grinders and other tools to prepare and finish welds.
