Overview

Keywords Studios Asia is expanding its team to work on an exciting new AAA project. The role is full-time, permanent and can be based remotely in Malaysia or Indonesia.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality environment art.
• Build, iterate, and optimise environments that support gameplay, narrative, and artistic direction.
• Collaborate closely with art direction, level design, and tech art to build performant and visually impressive worlds.
• Apply modular and kit-based approaches to environment art.
• Troubleshoot performance, consistency, or technical constraints across platforms.
• Contribute to visual benchmarks and help establish best practices for environment art workflows.
• Understand textures and materials and optimally create and apply them across an environment.
