Environment Lead

The Environment Lead will provide enterprise-wide environmental governance, assurance, and strategic oversight across TBG’s diversified power generation portfolio (coal, diesel, and battery energy storage systems), ensuring full regulatory compliance, effective environmental risk management, and continuous improvement in environmental performance aligned with corporate, regulatory, and sustainability objectives.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain corporate environmental policies, standards, and minimum requirements applicable across all TBG assets
• Develop and maintain the enterprise environmental risk register and ensure risk controls are implemented at site level
• Provide environmental leadership for new and emerging technologies (e.g., BESS) including permitting readiness and risk assessment
• Support site-level environmental officers during inspections, investigations, and compliance challenges
