Working as part of a major project team in the Québec region, the position holder will exercise leadership in environmental and sustainable development matters within the team and among involved stakeholders. They ensure the development and execution of the project in compliance with environmental requirements in collaboration with various parties and supervise the team of environmental and sustainability specialists assigned to the project.
What you will do
- Lead the project’s environmental and sustainability team, work with other project teams, and collaborate with all involved stakeholders.
- Ensure the implementation and compliance of an Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Define and monitor the environmental and sustainability strategy with project leadership, and set objectives.
- Support and oversee the strategy for obtaining required environmental permits.
