**Job Overview:**
APTIM is seeking an **Environmental Engineering Intern** to conduct environmental site investigations and remedial actions. This position requires the ability to conduct field work, desktop analysis and reporting, occasional overnight travel, and application of knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and nonstandard situations.
Duties may include but is not limited to: installation of environmental soil borings and monitoring wells (both manually with a hand auger and also with a licensed drilling subcontractor), collection and documentation of soil and groundwater samples for laboratory analysis, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, environmental permitting, installation of environmental remediation systems, implementation of both in-situ and ex-situ remedial actions, underground storage tank installation and removal, and underground storage tank system inspections, and ability to gain working knowledge of Federal, State, ...
