Environmental I - Cleaner/Housekeeper

Your Opportunity:

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for a dependable, highly motivated individual for the position of Environmental Services I (cleaner/housekeeper) who is dedicated to both high-quality work and safety. This casual position is located at the Royal Alexandra Hospital.
AHS will provide the necessary training to safely clean and disinfect patient rooms, clinical areas, office areas, and other common staff/public areas in accordance with AHS standards and practices. Other responsibilities may include cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment, and manual materials handling daily. Environmental Services is about more than providing a pleasant atmosphere, it is about ensuring hospitals and healthcare facilities are properly cleaned, disinfected, and maintained to provide a healthy environment for everyone. Shift schedules may include a combination of day, evening, nights, and weekend shifts.
