Environmental Lead

Responsibilities

• Report to the Regional Environmental Manager and the respective Project Manager(s) for the projects under your purview.
• Be sufficiently autonomous to operate independently within the context of the scope of projects assigned to you. Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure open and transparent communication with, and amongst, the team.
• Oversee the development of environmental management plans, permit applications, and other pre‑construction deliverables.
• Steward the implementation of field environmental management programs, including the coordination (or execution) of pre‑construction surveys and/or salvages for fish and other wildlife, rare or invasive plants, and sensitive ecosystems as well as comprehensive compliance monitoring programs for water quality (marine and freshwater), underwater noise, marine mammals, construction waste and hazardous waste, noise and vibrations, etc.
