ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as an Environmental Protection Specialist for COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE. Responsibilities You will serve as the Regional Environmental Policy Director, supervising Region Program Managers for various programs. You will be responsible for overall program management and administration of Environmental Policy Programs and will coordinate with necessary stakeholders to ensure program success. You will be responsible for all environmental policy and regulatory subjects, including and not limited to: air emissions, asbestos, waste water, hazardous materials, petroleum, oil and lubricants, spill prevention and response, hazardous waste. You will develop, formulate and evaluate policy for environmental protection and compliance throughout the Regional Commander's area of responsibility.
