Summary About the Position: This position is located in the Engineering and Logistics Support Division of the Directorate of Operations and Logistics, Headquarters, United States Africa Command (USAFRICOM). The Environmental Protection Specialist serves as USAFRICOM's senior subject matter expert on environmental issues across Africa and functions as the command's technical authority for theater environmental security and protection in a diverse and complex operational environment. Responsibilities Provides expert oversight for environmental security planning by applying comprehensive technical and legal analysis of host-nation standards, international laws, and DoD guidance.
