Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include

  • Work on report writing, proposal writing, blog writing, etc.
  • Put into practice and deepen their theoretical knowledge of water, environment, and development issues
  • Develop a more grounded understanding of environmental challenges in an Indian context
  • Learn advocacy, researching, campaigning, networking skills, and operational aspects of the organization
  • Strengthen, scale up, and build volunteer programs
  • Maintain work calendar and milestones
  • Write quality content on topics suggested by the organization

  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks within a team environment

It emphasizes familiarizing the people regarding the vital role water, energy and environment play in human lives, their impact on health, economic growth, livelihoods of the people and calamities that wreak havoc due to the non-judicious harnessing of these natural resources. The generation of this awareness is facilitated through seminars, conferences, symposia, outreach, and personal contact programs, etc. As water is an essential component of power generation and food production, therefore, IWF is also engaged in ensuring environmental security, water security, energy security and food security which are essential for sustainable development.
