Your Role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital

The Environmental Services Assistant ensures all areas of responsibility in the Main Hospital, Medical Clinic, Bendat Family Comprehensive Cancer Centre and designated tenant spaces are cleaned at a high standard and in a timely, safe and efficient manner encompassing all aspects of infection control requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean all common areas, patient wards, designated clinical and tenancy spaces and internal offices of the Hospital as rostered.
• Dust high and low surfaces within scope of responsibility.
• Remove rubbish and empty waste bins.
• Damp wipe all furniture and fixtures.
• Clean and polish metal and porcelain fixtures in bathrooms.
• Dry and/or damp mop hard floors of rooms, offices, toilets and common areas.
• Use wet floor signs at all times prior to damp mopping.
