Position Summary:
The Engineering Manager plans, organizes, develops and directs the equipment design Engineering Team to meet company objectives for design of new equipment, improvement of existing equipment, innovation of manufacturing process, project management and backup support and troubleshooting for our Maintenance teams.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise, lead, mentor and develop the technical and soft skills of engineers within the department.Equipment Design (perform and oversee) – Lead in determining form, fit, function and specification of all equipment design and components to meet manufacturing requirements/needs (presses, mobile equipment, heat treat equipment, machine tools, etc.).Responsible for directing research and development for new processes and equipment.Makes executive recommendations based upon function, budget, ROI, quality and safety.Lead Design of ...
